Travel With Us
Honduras Hope members travel to Honduras four times each year. We invite anyone interested in learning more about our organization and the communities and programs we support to join us. People on our trips describe the experience as life-changing, and we encourage you to make it meaningful by planning an activity in one of the program areas.
We travel as a group and stay at the Hotel Marquez in Yoro, Honduras, which has free wifi. On some trips, there is an optional day trip to San Jose de Machigua, a mountaintop village that is 3-4 hours on foot with horses available to carry equipment and those for whom the hike may be challenging. More recently, a road has been constructed to this village making travel to San Jose much easier (when it's not the rainy season!).
